[AAUP-ULL-List] AAUP social Tuesday, March 8, 5-7 PM - reminder!

Hello everyone,

Members of the UL Lafayette chapter of the AAUP, friends and
fellow-travelers, kids and pets, as well as anyone in town who is part of
the state conference and friends, will meet Tuesday, March 8, 5-7 PM at
Artmosphere Bistro in downtown Lafayette.

We'll talk a little about what we'd like to do next year (we need to secure
spots at new faculty and new graduate student orientation, and to plan for
an event in the fall), and we'll socialize and decompress after grading.
We're also celebrating the fact that the new 1st Vice President of the
national AAUP is Brooks Ellwood, Robey Clark Professor of Geology at LSU.

The Artmosphere has a nice patio and you can eat or not, drink or not. It's
pet friendly and has bike racks. The address is 902 Johnston Street,
Lafayette 70501; that's at the corner of Jefferson downtown, across from
Borden's ice cream shop.
