[AAUP-ULL-List] Annual Meeting - LA Conference, AAUP

Dear Louisiana AAUP members,

​This is a call for an annual meeting of the State Conference. The meeting
will be in conjunction with one of the Association of Louisiana Faculty
Senates to be held at LSU-Alexandria on Saturday, April 21, 2018. That
all-day meeting begins on Saturday at 10 AM, includes a lunch, and in the
afternoon we will have an AAUP meeting with the following Agenda: ​

AAUP Louisiana State Conference Annual Meeting

1                    President’s Report

2                    Treasurer’s, Committee A, and other Reports

3                    Discussion, especially of any pending cases on
Academic Freedom

4                    Elections for the four offices of the Executive for
the next two-year term. The Nominating Committee of the Executive has
suggested the following slate:

Hugh Wilson, Grambling,  President

Dayne Sherman, SELU, Vice-President

Leslie Bary, UL Lafayette, Secretary

Michael Homan, Xavier University, Treasurer

Additional nominations may be made from the floor and then a vote taken,
members in attendance constituting the requisite quorum.
